What is Feng shui? Wha is Feng shui used for? These are the main questions people ask themselves. Feng Shui is an ancient art and science developed over 3,000 years ago in China. As it has so long history and has come till our century, I think it is true.

Although Feng Shui evolved from Taoism, a form of spiritual practice, it is not a religion. Like yoga, it is unnecessary to promo, believe or even know about its spiritual history. Feng Shui is growing rapidly in popularity and it is used in many mainstream interior design approaches.

It is a complex body of knowledge that reveals how to balance the energies of any given space to assure the health and good fortune for people inhabiting it.

Feng Shui is pronounced as “fung-shway,” which means “wind and water” respectively. Feng shui is always in motion like a water and wind,. The purpose of this motion is to direct Chi, energy of life, to move through your world like light breeze or like a forest brook.

В In Chinese culture gentle wind and clear water (lot of chi) have always been associated with good health and fortune this is good feng shui and bad feng shui associates with hardship and misfortune.

According to Chinese doctrine, Chi is everywhere: on the earth, in the atmosphere, it comes through our bodies, itВ  pours in our houses and apartments. The principle of feng shui is to move away physical obstacles, impeding the chi flow. The block for Chi flow in your house can bring you a lot of hardships and misfortunes.

Feng shui harmonises the chi flow. In the result we receive that the Chinese call "three great pleasures": health, abundance and happiness.В
